My book "Jump" by Ginger Rue was about A rich girl name Brinkley who gets everything she wants but what she really wants is her parents attention. Brinkley is really popular she is like the "It" girl that everyone hates but everyone wants to be. Brinkley's main focus was her appearance and being popular she treated people badly and caused a few girls to move to different schools. Brinkley only thought about herself and loved to put other people down before she was sent to Irangi a guidance counselor. Irangi spoke to Brinkley but nothing seemed to change her until she started to jump into the bodies of the people she bullied. First was Miranda, the Elmo chick Brinkley would make fun of and ridicule with her friends. While Brinkley was in Miranda's body she started to feel sympathy for people her after figuring out the Miranda harms herself because of her drunk dad issues.
Then it was Carly an overweight girl who tries to hard to get that perfect body but she's just stuck being who she is. Brinkley witnesses how Carly is taunted for her weight not only by kids at school but even by the gym Escher and her crush. Then Brinkley is put into a foreign exchange students body named Jae and has to experience what it's like to have so much to say but not be able to say it. Carly jumps into two more students bodies and have to go through what they go through everyday so she starts to feel bad about how she treated them. Then Lastley Brinkley is put in the body of her so called best friend Bette and finds out that Bette has a secret relationship with her boyfriend Tristan. Brinkley stats to notice that the people she called friends low -key hated her and talked about her behind her back. At the end of the book Brinkley learns the importance of being kind to everyone because you don't know what they have to face at home everyday. Brinkley also learns that having a few friends and being known as uncool is okay as long as you can truly trust the people you associate yourself with.
